ABOUT US
The Polo Centre of Sustainability is a non-governmental organization that provides the European social science research community with access to first-rate data surveying and social scientific services. It offers a full range of survey design, data management, analytical and quantitative and qualitative skills. Our enthusiasm has stemmed from the desire to collect data of the highest quality, to carry out research and investigative work in the public good and to develop upon knowledge base to support state-of-the-art decision making. Our aim is to be internationally recognised as a centre for excellence in the provision of social science research, academia and relating organisations. We also have strict controls of personal information as outlined in our PCS Privacy Program.

The Centre's research is based within two interdisciplinary methodological approaches: qualitative and quantitative. The combinative use of the two has been a long goal of the Centre with pioneering research in sustainability controls and systematisation-biases of combining the two approaches. The Centre has expert personnel that specialise in sustainable development, geographical statistics and environmental disciplinary research. Common sustainability indices that utilise one of these two approaches show the diverse nature and wide range of our research expertise. A tabular example under Sustainability Indices elucidates this research and its significance.
